| Troubleshooting the PTM Viewer Applet | ||||

| All Users: | ||||
| 1. | Give the applet time to load, it may take a couple of minutes depending on the speed of your internet connection, but the PTMs are worth it, be patient! | |||
| 2. | If two thumbnail images appear on a PTM example page, but clicking on one of the images does not bring up the viewer. Try quitting and restarting your browser. | |||
| Windows Users: | ||||
| 1. | If no Images appear on a PTM example page, try downloading the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment from Sun java.com | |||
| 2. | If you see a red "x" and the Coin images do not appear, there may be a problem with your proxy configuration for the JRE. You can find step by step instructions on how to fix this here: red x help | |||
| Mac Users: | ||||
| Apple recommends using the Safari browser for Java web content. Safari is included with all versions of Mac OS X.2 and higher, and updates are free. More information about Safari and about the Java implementation included on the Mac can be found here: Mac OS X Java features |
